Malfunction in my UltraStudio Mini? Bad cabling between the USMR and my computer? Since I am running this on a Mac with only USB-C ports, I am connecting the USMR to my computer with a lightning cable to a Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adaptor. Why does Media Express crash when opened while connected to USMR? Why does Media Express report that no Blackmagic hardware can be found? But if I choose 1080p I just get a black screen. If I select auto, 1080i or 480p the video feed shows up in my WireCast app. No video.īut under "Device" in the Media Express menu "UltraStudio Mini Recorder" shows up.īack to the HDMI options on my camcorder. I then can re-connect the USMR and it does not crash. If I first disconnect the USMR and then start Media Express it will start up. When I click the "OK" button the app crashes with a crash report. I get a message that says: "Blackmagic hardware could not be found in your system. I cannot open Media Express as long as UltraStudio Mini Recorder is connected to my computer.
